We engaged John’s services to design and draft two units after we had demolished the old residence. We wanted to create two modern functional residences, which maximised both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The front building also needed to take advantage of the park views opposite the site. The design process was enjoyable as John listened to our design requirements and anticipated budget. He took the stress out of a design and build by consulting with local council and infrastructure suppliers to ensure that our briefs fitted planning requirements. John also worked closely with us during the initial contracts with the builder of the first stage to ensure that the contract gave us exactly what we needed. The first unit has been built and the design has created a comfortable home for us, which has exceeded our expectations. It also fell well within budget, a bonus for any build. We look forward to working with John on the final build.
